GB's Luol Deng is Now a Two-Time NBA All-Star – Basketball Megastore

Basketball Megastore

As the UK faces a basketball funding crisis, we can at least be happy in the fact that GB star, Luol Deng, is heading to his second NBA All-Star game!

Last year, Luol was the first ever Briton to make it to an NBA All-Star game. He also helped his team, the Chicago Bulls, to a 25-16 record, and 4th place in the Eastern Conference.

Deng is a seriously solid player for the Bulls, averaging 17.4 points per game (which is a team high) 6.4 rebounds per game, 3 assists, 1.08 steals all in 39.8 minutes per game.

Deng has stubbled with injuries the past couple of years, with a wrist injury keeping is All-Star minutes to a minimum last year, but hopefully we should see much more of him on the court in Houston this year.
