Knicks Trade Novak and Camby to Toronto for Bargnani July 01, 2013 00:11

The New York Knicks have reportedly done a deal with the Toronto Raptors, to acquire Andrea Bargnani.

The New York Knicks will send Marcus Camby and Steve Novak, as well as some draft action, to the Raptors. Reports are yet to 100% confirm whether the Raptors will get two draft choices, or maybe the first round pick in the 2016 draft.

No doubt we'll here more about this in coming days, as the league review the trade and consider approval.

The Knicks aren't really losing anything in this trade, given that Novak is a one-dimensional player, and Camby is in a constant battle with his ageing body.

Bargnani averaged 12.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 28.7 minutes of play per game last season.
